CHESTERFIELD MATCH PREVIEW - EARLY TEAM NEWS

7 May 2016

The Bantams entertain Chesterfield at the Coral Windows Stadium this Sunday (8 May 2016) in their final game of the regular league season ahead of the forthcoming Play-Offs.

Kick off for this Sunday's match is 12:30pm.

In keeping with recent tradition, there will be the usual pre-match minute's silence before Sunday's game to remember those affected by the 1985 Valley Parade fire disaster.

City boss Phil Parkinson will need to assess the fitness of James Hanson (calf), Filipe Morais (knee) and Kyel Reid (groin) due to minor issues for the trio.

Steven Davies is definitely out as he completes the final game of his three-game ban following his sending off at Coventry City last month.

For opponents Chesterfield, centre half Charlie Raglan is expected to be back involved in their squad following a one-match ban last weekend.

Fellow defender Liam O'Neill is likely to miss out again, however, due to an ankle injury.

Keighley-born shot-stopper Tommy Lee has been nursing a shoulder injury this week, while former Huddersfield Town striker Lee Novak has been troubled with a knee problem in recent days.

Midfielder Gary Liddle, now Chesterfield's skipper, is scheduled to make his first return to the Coral Windows Stadium since leaving for the Spireites at the start of February.
