CITY CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP WITH PULSE 2

15 July 2016

Having recently announced that BBC Radio Leeds have agreed the broadcasting rights to bring full commentary on all of Bradford City's matches in 2016/17 to the supporters, the club are also delighted to announce that Pulse 2 Sport will continue to provide full match commentary on all of City's home and away matches this coming campaign.

'Pulse 2 Matchday: LIVE' is a brand new show which will feature in-depth analysis of all things Bradford City as well as wider sports coverage and 'Your Call', which is a fans' phone in to debate the issues of the day. Commentary will still continue to be available to the club's online platform, Bantams Player HD.

Pulse 2's Programme Controller Tony MacKenzie said:

'We are so proud to be associated for yet another season with Bradford City Football Club. Our relationship has grown stronger and stronger over the years that we've worked together. The faith and trust the club puts in our ability to provide fans and indeed the club with the best coverage is equally gratifying.'

Pulse 2's Station Director Sam Fielding is equally excited about the continued partnership, and he said:

'We've worked with Bradford City for many years now and our relationship with the club is enviable. The station's coverage of all things Bradford City over all these years has been second to none and with our new look show, 'Pulse 2 Matchday: LIVE'  I see this improving even more.'

'We've recently invested in Pulse 2's DAB coverage of West Yorkshire by commissioning three new transmitters; this means we can offer crystal clear sound for fans to enjoy.'

Bradford City Chief Operating Officer James Mason was also delighted with the continuation of the club's partnership with the Pulse 2 radio and he said:

'I'm delighted to have Pulse 2 on board; the station has been a loyal supporter of the club for many years and now with a sharper, invigorated show it can only be good news for the listeners and for the club. I look forward to the opening day of the new season on August 6th!'

Pulse 2 Producer Ewan Miller added:

'Exciting times ahead for the club, and with the launch of 'Pulse 2 Matchday: LIVE' it is exciting times for us as well. I'm looking forward to building a strong show and delivering some great content that we believe the fans deserve.'
