The match at the Coral Windows Stadium will kick off at 7:45pm.
The Bantams were originally scheduled to face Barnsley this coming Saturday (9 January 2016) but the fixture had to be postponed due to City's involvement in the Emirates FA Cup third round.
The new date for the Barnsley fixture will now see the game placed in between an away fixture at Port Vale (Saturday 23 January) and a home match against Fleetwood Town (Saturday 30 January).
Barnsley have already played once before at Valley Parade this season when the two sides met in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy back in October.
