TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY UPDATES...

1 February 2016

After plenty of signings and plenty of money being spent along the way, the English January transfer window will finally slam shut at 11:00pm this Monday evening.

City have renewed loan deals for Kyel Reid, Reece Burke and Lee Evans during this period. Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has also added loanee strikers Jamie Proctor and Wes Thomas to his squad.

Football League clubs, including City, can sign players on emergency loan deals seven days after today's deadline day.

An emergency loan is a temporary deal that lasts for no longer than 93 days. This will be the last emergency loan period available to clubs, however, with short-term deals of this nature outlawed from the 2016/2017 season onwards.
