LET'S GIVE THEM A PERFORMANCE TO BE PROUD OF

26 February 2016

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson wants City to give their travelling army a performance they can be proud at Blackpool this Saturday (27 February 2016).

Backed by around 3,000 visiting fans, City are scheduled to make their first trip to Bloomfield Road in nearly ten years to take on Neil McDonald's Tangerines in Sky Bet League 1 at the weekend.

City's large support at the game means the away section at Blackpool is now SOLD OUT - there will be no option to pay on the day at the ground.

With the Bantams then, not for the first time this season, expected to be roared on by a sizeable away support this Saturday, Parkinson says City need to reward their fans' loyalty with a determined display against Blackpool.

Parkinson said: "We always relish these occasions when we know we will have a large number of supporters backing us at an away ground.

"We have to approach this game in the right manner now and make sure we put in a full-on proper 'Bradford City' performance.

"We have to be competitive all over the pitch and first to every ball.

"Win, lose or draw, we want our army of fans to be driving back home on the motorway after the game talking about a committed performance from the team.

"We must roll our sleeves up for this fixture, really attack it, and hopefully we can start another important week in the right manner.

"Blackpool have had some good results at home recently against Scunthorpe United, Gillingham and Sheffield United so we know what they are capable of."

The club would like to respectfully remind supporters NOT to travel to Bloomfield Road this Saturday without valid match tickets.
