Bradford City 1 (Reid 54)
Sky Bet League 1

at Bloomfield Road
Kyel Reid's match-winning strike early into the second period helped City to secure a hard-fought victory at Blackpool this Saturday.
Reid's all-important strike - his third goal of the season - came nine minutes after the break when the winger rifled low into the low bottom corner from just inside the box following a superb run from distance by Stephen Darby.
Backed by an estimated 3,000 travelling supporters, City looked the stronger side for large parts of the contest and deserved the victory after mastering a difficult playing surface at Bloomfield Road.
After toe-poking over from a decent position inside the box when the game was still goalless shortly after the break, Wes Thomas nearly engineered City's second following Reid's opener when he played the ball across the six yard box but Hayden White was on hand to deny James Hanson a tap-in.
The flow of the game could have gone down a different route, however, was it not for a truly stunning save from Ben Williams in first half injury time.
Former Bantam Mark Yeates curled an effort for the far top corner from inside the box but Williams flung himself up to his left to tip the goal-bound effort onto the bar.
Hosts Blackpool ended the game with only ten men when home defender Will Aimson was given his second caution deep into injury time following a push on James Hanson.
The only downside for City on an afternoon which saw them register their fourth win in six was injuries to Reece Burke and Steven Davies, both of whom had to leave the pitch in the latter stages.
Burke was forced off after twisting an ankle, while Davies - a second half replacement for Thomas - had to be substituted himself just before the end of normal time after injuring his knee.
Thomas also received a kick to his calf in the second period, a knock that contributed to his withdrawal for Davies a few minutes after the hour mark

60min: McMahon's left-footed cross-come-shot is blocked away by Norris. McMahon goes for goal again shortly afterwards when the ball bounces his way from a City throw-in but his ambitious left-footed effort on the half-volley from distance sails a good distance wide of its intended target.

45min: There will be two minutes of time added on at the end of the first half.
