Cheltenham and Leicester are due to meet on Tuesday 10 January 2017 at the LCI Rail Stadium in their round two clash.
City booked their place in the last sixteen of the Checkatrade Trophy thanks to a 1-0 victory over Cambridge United at the Northern Commercials Stadium this Wednesday.
Round three ties are scheduled to take place the week commencing 9 January but City's game with either Cheltenham or Leicester will have to be played at a later date due to their outstanding round two match.
