STOKE CITY (CHECKATRADE TROPHY) TEAM NEWS

30 August 2016

Bantams boss Stuart McCall has made six changes to his side for this Tuesday's visit of Stoke City to the Northern Commercials Stadium in the Checkatrade Trophy.

As expected, skipper Stephen Darby has been named in City's starting line up for their opening Northern Group C match with the Potters.

Filipe Morais is also back in the side and looking for match minutes after being hampered recently with a slight thigh problem.

Along with Darby and Morais, Vincent Rabiega, Kwame Boateng, Reece Webb-Foster and Rouven Sattelmaier have been brought into the side.

Sattelmaier will take his place in goal, while Boateng is expected to join Daniel Devine in central midfield, meaning Timothee Dieng is scheduled to start in central defence.

Rabiega is likely to begin the game from the wing, with Webb-Foster partnering Jordy Hiwula in attack.

Matthew Kilgallon is on the bench alongside regular custodian Colin Doyle and apprentice trio Ellis Hudson, Niah Payne and Tom Windle.

The plan pre-match is to bring Kilgallon on at the interval, handing the defender his first action in claret and amber following his summer move to Valley Parade.
