The reserve fixture will kick off at 2:00pm at Wigan's Christopher Park Training Ground.
Following his return to training last week, Rory McArdle is expected to play against Wigan. Fellow defender Greg Leigh will also be involved.
Wingers Filipe Morais and Paul Anderson will be given some further game-time after recently recovering from long-term injury.
Wes Thomas, Mark Marshall and Josh Morris could also feature against the Latics.
City have won their last six league fixtures in the Final Third Development League. The Bantams secured a 2-0 victory at Wrexham in their previous reserve match last Wednesday.
