Every Football League game across the country also held a minute's silence to pay their respects.

Given the recent tragedy in Paris, England Under 20s' scheduled match this Saturday in France was postponed. The young Lions, with City loanee Reece Burke in their squad, instead returned back to England.
Saturday's game with France was due to be the second match-up between the two countries for England Under 20s. France won the first contest last Wednesday 4-3, with Burke acting as an unused substitute.
Burke is now expected to be available for City's Emirates FA Cup first round replay against Aldershot Town this Wednesday.
