The Bantams extended their unbeaten to ten games and moved into the Play-Off places in the process with a hard-fought goalless draw at home to table-toppers Coventry City.

Current League 1 top scorer Adam Armstrong hit the post for Coventry twenty minutes in but Rory McArdle fired narrowly wide from close range following Billy Knott's teasing cross later in the half.

With the high-tempo football continuing after the restart, a well-timed volley from Tony McMahon forced Coventry shot-stopper Reice Charles-Cook into a decent save midway through the second period.

Coventry substitute Ryan Kent warmed Ben Williams' gloves with a curling drive only two minutes after coming on before the Bantams goalkeeper made an even more crucial stop to earn City a share of the spoils.

The pacey Kent led a dangerous Coventry counter-attacker nine minutes from the end, with the Liverpool loanee eventually playing Jacob Murphy into shooting space inside the box.

Williams was quick out to the ball, however, to smother Murphy's shot and ensure City's goal wouldn't be breached for a seventh straight match.

74min: SUBS - The Bantams bring on Jordan Bowery and Devante Cole for Hanson and Billy Clarke respectively.

Reid rescues the situation over by the far side before crossing back into the box. His delivery hits Stokes before nearly dropping invitingly into the path of the lurking Hanson. Coventry clear, however, and quickly break forward on the counter-attack via Murphy, with the on-loan attacker's eventual fierce low drive from just inside the box being tipped around his near post by Williams.
