DISABILITY CLUB TO FEATURE AT OLDHAM GAME

26 March 2015

Bradford Disability FC are set to entertain the crowds at the Coral Windows Stadium once again when they take part in some exhibition matches during the half-time break of Saturday's fixture with Oldham Athletic.

Always popular with the supportive and encouraging City fans, the short-sided games on the Valley Parade pitch will help to promote the excellent work of Bradford Disability FC while also giving the participants to another chance to play on the hallowed turf.

Bradford Disability FC have featured regularly at previous home matches down the years, one of the most recent visits being to the Gillingham fixture back in November.

Last weekend members of the disability club played in a mini junior tournament at Greetland Goldstars in Halifax, with both the under 16s and under 13s winning their leagues. The juniors' next tournament will be in Riggtersbleek, Holland in June.

Anyone with a disability interested in playing for Bradford Disability FC can find details on their website, Bradforddfc.org.uk.

While the junior sides tasted recent success in Halifax, the adult teams are currently top of two of the three West Riding 'Ability Counts' leagues with only one more round of games to go.

The final round of games is at Marley Stadium, Keighley on Sunday 26th April 2015.
