PUDSEY VISITS THE CORAL WINDOWS STADIUM!

Pudsey the Bear was a welcome visit to the Coral Windows Stadium this Tuesday morning... and he brought some of his friends along for the ride!

Pudsey - the famous mascot of the Children in Need charity - was at Valley Parade to show his support to a large number of workers from the Lloyds Banking Group who were running, walking and cycling their way through a fundraising challenge.

Sports Tour of Britain. To celebrate 250 years of Lloyds Bank, 200 years of Scottish Widows, the group has entered into a major partnership with BBC Children In Need. Throughout the year, Lloyds will stage a number of events to show their support for this excellent charity - one of which is called the


The Sports Tour involves Lloyds colleagues walking, cycling and running around five regions where the IT Departments have major sites. Tapping into this countries love for sports, the route will also take in many of the sports stadia in those regions, including Valley Parade. Lloyds are looking for in excess of five hundred of our colleagues to take part in the event across the country, with the aim being to raise in excess of £100,000 for the charity.


As part of the Northern stage of the tour, the brave walkers, runners and cyclists stopped off at the Coral Windows Stadium for a quick breather and some light refreshment. The fundraisers are also scheduled to visit the likes of Yorkshire CCC, Leeds United, Oldham Athletic, Manchester City and Manchester United throughout this Tuesday.


Although he was there chiefly to support the fundraisers, Pudsey did squeeze in a quick opportunity to throw his support behind City's #onefournine campaign!

He is pictured below with City's own fundraising kit man, John Duckworth - a gentleman with plenty of experience racking up the miles walking for charity thanks to his THREE previous Lincoln to Bradford treks for the Bradford Burns Unit.
