As the Mitton Group portfolio of services grows nationally, Managing Director Steven Taylor explains why the new deal with Bradford City was crucial in their expansion. ‘As City fans we have always been involved with the Club and used our financial support as a thank you for the enjoyment we have had over the years. Now more than ever, the Club’s name is in the public spotlight for all the right reasons. From the Capital One Cup exposure to last season’s FA Cup run, we received more exposure than we could have done so by spending our marketing budget elsewhere. Now that we are developing our business on a national stage, our customers from up and down the country are seeing our branding and logos on the company vehicles, in the stadium, on social media and our own website! The increased sponsorship will also reinforce our name in the stadium to over 18,000 Bradfordians and we are delighted to be recognised as an official Corporate partner.’
City’s Chief Operating Officer James Mason believes this latest signing could be one of them most crucial yet for the Club going forward saying, ‘For Steven and The Mitton Group to back us in this way is a real feather in our cap for what we are trying to do commercially as a business. In recent years, they have been on hand for things as small as a leaky tap to redeveloping the 1911 Club, building offices for staff and help ingextensively at the training ground. Their physical help is invaluable and whenever we run a fundraising campaign they are the first to offer support. Their financial contribution over the years too has grown and grown and this new long term deal is both significant for the Club but also for their business. They have backed us to deliver a marketing programme that will hopefully exceed what they could have experienced with other more traditional methods. It’s great to receive the backing of a genuine business success story based here in Bradford and we would encourage others to come and see what we have to offer! With the landmark Westfield Broadway site about to open in November which I know the Mitton Group have been working on, there has never been a better time to be investing in Bradford or at the Football Club.’
