UPDATED CHELSEA TICKET DETAILS

16 January 2015

The football club would like to give supporters the following update regarding match tickets for City's forthcoming F.A Cup Fourth Round tie with Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Dear Supporters

As we anticipated, demand for tickets for our FA Cup Fourth Round tie with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge has already been high.

As with any big fixture and a limited number of tickets, there will be some disappointment. We accept this and unfortunately there will be some things out of our control and due to the proximity between Wednesday’s third round replay and the eagerly anticipated match next Saturday, the logistics of fulfilling demand is very difficult.

As of 7:30pm this Friday evening, we stilldo nothave the tickets which should have been with us early Friday morning sent from Chelsea Football Club. As you can imagine, this poses a logistical problem for the ticket office staff that is no fault of their own. We ask that over the coming days you respect the hard work that all Bradford City staff on the phones and behind the kiosks will be doing and to deal with all enquiries and sales as quickly and as fairly as they can.

Without their hard work we would not be able to fulfil any demand. We had an option to take fewer tickets but maximised our option so as to give as many of you as possible the chance to share in what will be another memorable day in the history of Bradford City.

As previously stated on this website, ahead of the Millwall replay in anticipation of a high demand we took the decision to prioritise ticket availability.

Due to the delay in the tickets arriving this, of course, has meant we have had to tailor our ticketing plans. In addition we are aware of the following problem on our online ticketing system that ahead of the Millwall replay, some supporters were able to purchase multiple tickets using just one season ticket.

  • Therefore - If you are coming to buy tickets in person at the ticket office, the stipulations previously stated still apply. Each Season ticket or flexi card holder with a valid Millwall stub (from ONLY the game played here at home) will be eligible for a Chelsea ticket per season ticket / flexi card holder as we are able to still reconcile the two.
  • However - If you wish to still buy tickets online because you are unable to buy in person at the ticket office (e.g. you may live some distance away) this will unfortunately still be limited to one ticket per season ticket / flexi card holder.  This is because our system cannot reconcile the multiple ticket purchases to each individual.

As such, to try rectify this and be as fair as possible in hopefully resolving this, we suggest the following:-

Any supporters that bought multiple tickets online, phone or in person using only one season ticketand still wishes to purchase onlineand thus reconcile these multiple purchases, we suggest you scan or take a picture of the relevant ticket stubs from the Millwall replay and a picture of your season ticket/flexi card or the relevant membership number and email them tobradfordcityfc@compuserve.comwith a relevant telephone contact number for one of our staff to call you back and take credit or debit card details.

We will only call you if you have fulfilled these criteria.  All other bookings must be made online or in person at the ticket office only.

Tickets bought online, from the ticket office orvia this updated email methodwill be available from 10:00am on Saturday 17January.

They will be available strictly only on a first come first served basis. E-mails will not start to be processed until 10:00am to coincide with ticket office opening times.

In addition, we suggest any supporters that areAway Priority Card Holdersand had previously bought tickets to the Yeovil Town match on Saturday also e-mail the above address as we hope to make a special dispensation only if they fulfil the other criteria previously stated.

Ticket office opening times will be as follows:-

Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm (On-line sales will also start from 10:00am)

Sunday   10:00am – 5:00pm

From Monday onwards, normal office hours will resume.
