City cruised into the F.A Cup fourth round and a date with Premier League leaders Chelsea after decisively defeating Championship side Millwall in a replay this Wednesday evening.

After drawing 3-3 with the Lions in an entertaining first game at The Den eleven days ago, City were clearly too much for their London visitors to handle as they swept Ian Holloway's men aside with relative ease in front of a delighted home support.

Having already seen defender Mark Beevers dismissed in the fifth minute for dragging down James Hanson as he was through on goal, Millwall's misery was compounded by City when the same Bantams striker headed home via the far post shortly afterwards.

Strike-partner Jon Stead then got in on the act ten minutes later when he fired home following Andrew Davies' headed knock down from a Filipe Morais free-kick.

With City two goals up and a man up at this stage, the game endured a brief sour note when Millwall defender Alan Dunne sparked a mass confrontation just before the half hour mark by needlessly barging Hanson into the sponsor hoardings as the pair contested a bouncing ball by the near touchline.

As the dust settled, Dunne was cautioned for his actions, while Billy Knott and Millwall 'keeper David Forde were also booked for their part in the clashes that followed.

With the game almost ready to restart after the melee, match official James Adcock surprisingly decided to send both Bantams boss Phil Parkinson and his assistant Steve Parkin to the stands as well.

Despite their absence from the touchline, however, City still managed to treble their lead six minutes before the interval when Morais squared the ball for Andy Halliday to ram home from close range.

The game was almost certainly tied up for the Bantams following Halliday's goal but City made absolutely certain of their trip to Stamford Bridge with a fourth in the second period.

Billy Knott picked up the goal his busy performance had deserved shortly before the hour mark when he prodded past Forde after the ball had bounced up into his path deep inside the Millwall box.

The victory sees City into the fourth round of the F.A Cup for the first time since 2000. It is also the first time since have earned their place in this stage of the competition by winning three ties since the 1975/76 campaign.

FT: Bradford City 4 Millwall 0
90min: There will be two minutes of time added on at the end of the match.
89min: Yeates' wide free-kick into the area is flicked out of the six yard box by a Millwall defender into the path of Liddle but the midfielder's strike from around 14 yards out on the half-volley bounces comfortably over the bar.
85min: Williams comes to punch clear a Dunne free-kick into the box but the ball only ends up dropping at the feet of Webster, who plays the ball across the area to the waiting Gueye. The Millwall attacker gets his shot away but the effort lacks the power and placement to trouble the recovering Williams.
83min: Gueye takes a quick free-kick from distance, playing the ball over the top for the run of Gregory. The Millwall striker takes the ball down inside the box and shoots for goal but his effort is sliced wide of Williams' near post.
82min: Zoko lines up a shot from just outside the area but his low drive is straight at Forde.
80min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Christopher Routis for Hanson.
76min: Yeates turns away from Chaplow before clipping in a cross which finds the head of Zoko. The Ivorian's header is goalbound but Forde dives across to save the effort.
73min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Mark Yeates for Knott, who receives a tremendous ovation as he comes off.
73min: As City clear a Millwall corner through Halliday, Zoko leads the break forward by taking on Briggs. The Ivorian striker races into the box, beating Briggs for pace, before clipping the ball against the near post with a dink from close range.
70min: YELLOW CARD - Nadjim Abdou is booked for catching Liddle with a late tackle just inside Millwall's half of the pitch.
69min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Francois Zoko for Stead.
66min: Halliday fires wide from just outside the area following neat build-up play before hand from Knott and Stead.
63min: SUB - Millwall bring on Magaye Gueye for Martin.
57min: GOAL!!!! Bradford City 4 Millwall 0 - Knott has City's fourth of the night! A superb attacking move from the Bantams eventually ends with Knott firing past Forde from close range after Meredith had kept the ball alive for Parkinson's men inside the box.
50min: Chaplow tries his luck from distance but his drive sails high and wide over Williams' bar.
49min: Woolford turns into shooting space inside the box but his low angled drive finds only the side-netting by Ben Williams' near post.
47min: A driving run into the area from Meredith tees up Knott for a glorious chance! The left back's low ball into the box falls at the feet of Knott but his effort is repelled from close range by Forde as the midfielder tried to cleverly clip it over him.
46min: Millwall kick off the second half.
HT SUB - Millwall bring on Byron Webster for Upson.
HT: Bradford City 3 Millwall 0
45min: There will be three minutes of time added on at the end of an eventful first period at the Coral Windows Stadium.
39min: GOAL!!!!!!!!!! Bradford City 3 Millwall 0 - City treble their lead through Halliday! Knott plays Morais into space down City's right flank and the Portuguese midfielder fires the ball across the goal for Halliday to tap in from close range.
34min: Briggs crosses the ball inside the box but Lee Gregory's header flies comfortably over the bar.
32min: Lee Martin drags a shot harmlessly wide from outside the box.
30min: SENT TO THE STANDS - As things begin to calm down following the earlier angry exchanges, both Bantams boss Phil Parkinson and his assistant Steve Parkin are amazingly sent to the stands by Mr Adcock.
28min: YELLOW CARD - Knott and Millwall's Forde are both booked for their part in the brawl. On first glance, Forde's caution looks perhaps a bit generous as the 'keeper appeared to throw at least one punch in the brawl.
28min: YELLOW CARD - Dunne is booked for his push on Hanson.
28min: A needless push from Dunne on the back of Hanson as the ball is going out of play, something which sends the striker tumbling, sparks an almighty clash between both sides. A number of players and coaching staff get involved before things finally settle down.
22min: SUB - Millwall bring on Martyn Woolford for Ricardo Fuller.
21min: YELLOW CARD - Halliday is booked for a lunging tackle on Matthew Briggs just inside Millwall's half.
18min: GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!! Bradford City 2 Millwall 0 - The Bantams double their lead through Stead! Morais' delivery from the following free-kick is headed down into the mix by Davies and Stead is first onto the loose ball to ram it into the bottom corner past a motionless David Forde.
17min: YELLOW CARD - After receiving a warning for a first minute foul on Liddle, Richard Chaplow, who is now playing right back following Beevers, is booked for catching James Meredith late over by City's left wing.
14min: The ball drops into Knott's path inside the area but the midfielder volleys a yard or so over.
10min: YELLOW CARD - Davies is booked for bringing down Ed Upson as the Millwall midfielder had raced towards City's penalty area around 35 yards out.
8min: GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!Bradford City 1 Millwall 0 - City have the lead through top-scorer Hanson! Halliday's corner is flicked on by McArdle and Hanson is waiting unmarked towards the far side of the goal to head on off the post!
5min: RED CARD - Beevers is given his marching orders after only five minutes! Rory McArdle's ball over the top sees Hanson in behind Millwall's back four about 30 yards from goal. Beevers, who is the wrong side of the striker, tugs him back and denys Hanson a clear run into Millwall's penalty area. Referee James Adcock decides that Beevers has committed a professional foul and gives the central defender a straight red card.
3min: Alan Dunne has to kick clear over his own bar for a corner after Morais had broken clear down City's right flank and played a ball into the mix looking for the lurking James Hanson.
3min: Gary Liddle volleys well over the bar after being picked out just inside Millwall's box by Morais' corner delivery.
2min: Andrew Davies gets onto Andy Halliday's resulting corner but his header races across goal and not towards it.
2min: Filipe Morais' free-kick into the box is headed down by James Hanson and Mark Beevers has to be alert to knock the ball out of play to prevent the lurking duo of Billy Knott and Jon Stead from pouncing.
0min: The Bantams kick off the tie. They will attack towards the empty T.L Dallas Stand in the first half.
