READING AT HOME FOR CITY IN F.A CUP QUARTER FINAL DRAW

16 February 2015

The Bantams have been handed a home tie with Championship side Reading in the F.A Cup Quarter-Finals following Monday's televised draw.

As they did after the Chelsea victory in the fourth round, a selection of City supporters gathered in the 1911 Club at the Coral Windows Stadium to watch the draw live on BBC One in front of the assembled press.

City attacker Billy Clarke and joint-chairman Mark Lawn were also present at Valley Parade for the draw.

All quarter-final ties are scheduled to take place on the weekend 7/8 March 2015, meaning City's Sky Bet League 1 match with Chesterfield - currently set for Saturday 7 March 2015 - will now have to be rearranged.

Reading, who are currently 16th in the Championship, secured their place in the last eight with an away win at Derby County on Saturday.

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson, of course, spent a large part of his playing career with the Berkshire-based club, becoming a hugely popular figure with the Reading fans in the process.

The match date, kick off time and ticket details for this tie will be announced in due course.
