City finished another action-packed week with a hard-fought point against Walsall to take them back into the League 1 Play-Off places.

Just three days after their victory at Leyton Orient, Phil Parkinson's side extended their current unbeaten to seven games on the same that day fellow top six contenders Doncaster Rovers, Oldham Athletic and Chesterfield all lost.

The Bantams - who were without the influential trio of Andrew Davies, Filipe Morais and James Hanson for the game - took the lead shorty after the interval when Billy Clarke drove home his seventh goal of the season with a fine strike from outside the area.

At that stage, City were heading for their fourth straight win in all competitions but Walsall levelled things up fifteen minutes from the end when Manchester City loanee forward Jordy Hiwula pounced to head Jordan Cook's cross into the far bottom corner.

Substitute Francois Zoko found himself on the end of a decent chance to restore City's lead in the final stages when Jon Stead played Andy Halliday's cross into his path but the Ivorian's first touch from close range bounced away from him and Ben Purkiss could vitally kick clear.

FT: Bradford City 1 Walsall 1
90min: There will be three minutes of time added on at the end of the match.
90min: SUB - Walsall bring on James Baxendale for Cook.
89min: Stead and Zoko combine to keep the ball in and around Walsall's penalty box before Sheehan fires in a low angled drive from around fourteen yards out which is well held by O'Donnell.
88min: Sheehan comes straight on to take a free-kick from just outside the box. The effort goes straight into the wall, however.
87min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Alan Sheehan for Yeates.
83min: Halliday's low cross into the box finds Stead, who in turn plays the ball across the area to the lurking Zoko. The Ivorian is positioned only a few yards from goal but as he takes a touch, the ball is whipped away from him by Ben Purkiss before he can fire for goal.
80min: YELLOW CARD - Hiwula is booked for dragging back James Meredith as the left back burst into Walsall's half of the pitch.
77min: Zoko heads wide of O'Donnell's far post with a downward header direct from Yeates' corner delivery.
75min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Francois Zoko for Clarke.
75min: GOAL - Bradford City 1 Walsall 1 - The visitors equalise when Hiwula peels off to the far post to head Jordan Cook's delivery into the bottom corner.
71min: SUBS - Walsall bring on Rico Henry and Ashley Grimes for Taylor and Romaine Sawyers respectively.
70min: As Gary Liddle and Clarke battle to keep a Yeates corner delivery deep inside Walsall's half, the ball eventually drops to Knott inside the box. Knott turns onto his favoured left-foot to have a shot but his effort takes a deflection on its way through and O'Donnell can scramble across and claim the ball.
66min: Michael Cain fires high and wide of Pickford's goal with a rising drive from outside the box.
64min: Forde fires a direct free-kick from around 25 yards wide of Pickford's near post.
61min: Billy Knott turns into shooting space just outside the box but his low right-footed drive trickles into O'Donnell's arms.
51min: GOAL!!!!!!!! Bradford City 1 Walsall 0 - City have the lead! Clarke takes aim from around 20 yards out and his low drive beats the dive of O'Donnell and finds the bottom corner.
51min: A heavy back-pass from O'Connor forces O'Donnell to scramble across goal and hurry a clearance to prevent a corner. O'Donnell's snatched kick drops at the feet of Clarke, however, giving the Irishman an opportunity to shoot for goal from distance. Clarke does indeed shoot forwards but the effort is kicked clear by Downing by the edge of Walsall's penalty area.
46min: Walsall restart the match.
HT: Bradford City 0 Walsall 0
45min: There will be one minute of time added on at the end of the first half.
44min: McArdle meets Yeates' resulting near post corner delivery but his header goes over the bar.
43min: James Meredith plays the ball down the left flank to Mark Yeates and the Irishman's attempted cross into the middle deflects towards goal and O'Donnell has to tip over the bar.
36min: Clarke's ball into the box sails just over the head of Stead but Halliday behind him latches onto the cross. The Scottish winger attacks the ball first time but the effort drops straight into the arms of O'Donnell.
29min: Clarke looks to be in with a sight of goal following Stephen Darby's header back into the box but referee Mr Tim Robinson awards a foul against the striker for a supposed push on Downing as the pair tangle for the ball inside the box. Clarke fires in a shot which is saved by last-man O'Donnell but the whistle had already gone for a foul against the forward.
14min: Hiwula has a shooting chance just outside the box but with McArdle diving in at his feet, the young striker can only fire in a tame strike straight at Pickford.
13min: Andy Halliday latches onto a loose touch from Andy Taylor before bursting towards Walsall's penalty area. Halliday drifts past James O'Connor and tries to square the ball across to Jon Stead inside the box but Paul Downing is on hand clear the danger.
10min: Mark Yeates' in-swinging free-kick from wide narrowly beats the head of McArdle before flashing across the Walsall six yard box and past Richard O'Donnell's far post.
7min: Jordy Hiwula bursts past Rory McArdle and into the penalty area before firing goalwards from a tight angle. Jordan Pickford repels the close range effort and Anthony Forde can only stab the rebound wide with a first time strike while under pressure.
0min: The Bantams kick off the match. They will attack towards the T.L Dallas Stand end in the first half.
