WILLIAMS NOMINATED FOR PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD

9 December 2015

City goalkeeper Ben Williams has been nominated for November's Sky Bet League 1 Player of the Month award.

Williams has been shortlisted for the monthly award alongside Coventry City attacker Jacob Murphy, Doncaster Rovers forward Andy Williams and highly-rated young Peterborough United midfielder Jermaine Anderson.

The Bantams shot-stopper has earned his nomination after collecting four clean sheets in five games for City during the month of November.

City picked up ten points thanks to those four clean-sheets from Williams last month, with the 'keeper pulling off some particularly impressive saves in the Scunthorpe United and Coventry fixtures.

Williams' haul of clean sheets in November came as part of an impressive run which saw the custodian keep seven consecutive shut-outs in a row for the Bantams.

Coventry boss Tony Mowbray, Peterborough manager Graham Westley, new Swindon Town chief Martin Ling and Port Vale's Rob Page have been shortlisted for the Manager of the Month award for November.

The winners of the Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards will be announced on Friday (11 December 2015).
