The vast majority of City's first team squad, including injured duo Paul Anderson and Steven Davies, were on hand to make the visit and to spread some festive spirit with just under three weeks to go until the big day.
City's players posed for photographs, signed autographs and stopped to chat with the children, their parents and the nurses who give expert care and support on a daily basis to the kids on the wards.
The group also gave out special Bantams gift bags with mini treats inside for the youngsters.
On a busy day for Phil Parkinson's Bantams, the squad also attended the club's annual Christmas Carol Service at St Michael & All Angels Church in Shelf in the evening.
Reflecting on the day's events, Bantams skipper Stephen Darby said: "It is massively important that we stay in touch with the local community.
"Bradford City has a great relationship with the community, and it is really important that we do these sort of visits.
"It is really tough for families and the kids in hospitals, especially at this time of year leading up to Christmas, so it is nice for us to do our little bit to put some smiles on their faces with gifts and presents.
"The carol service was a nice evening and it is important that we do these things as a squad, showing that we are all together as a group, and showing that the club and the community are together as one."
