With the Sky Bet League 1 home fixtures about to start with the visit of Shrewsbury Town this Saturday (15th August 2015), supporters are reminded of the need to get to the stadium as early as possible.
Given that a bumper crowd expected, home fans are being asked to think of last season’s cup ties when they responded brilliantly to get to the stadium early and make sure they missed none of the action. A repeat of the early arrival by fans for this first game of the season would help both the Club and supporters alike.
Full information on access to the stadium has been publicised on the website for most of this week and is still availableHERE.
The Club wishes to remind spectators that:
- Everyone needs to allow some extra time because of the increased attendance and long-term road works in Queens Road close to the stadium.
- Even though the vast majority have season tickets or flexi-cards, please check before you leave home to make sure you have all the tickets/passes you need and you know which entrance you should use.
The Club are also pleased to announce a couple of promotions to fill the time after your early arrival including:
- A Tweet-your-seat competition where anyone tweeting a selfie to the Club’s official Twitter page before 2.15pm has the chance to win an autographed football.
- Price promotions through catering partner, Centerplate, where reduced prices will be offered up to 2.30pm.
Although this announcement is all about Saturday, we would also remind supporters that 5:00pm today (Friday) is the last chance for season ticket and flexi-cards to be collected. We would also remind supporters that the Ticket Office will not open after the game during the coming season.
