Bantams striker James Hanson is in contention to win the League 1 Player of the Month award for August following his eye-catching beginning to the new campaign.
Hanson has been shortlisted for the award after scoring four goals in five league games for City at the start of the season. The imposing forward has also pitched in with two assists as well during the month.
Preston North End's Chris Humphrey, Barnsley midfielder Conor Hourihane and Coventry City skipper Reda Johnson have also been nominated for the award.
The winner of the award will be announced on Friday (5 September 2014).
