Sky Bet League 1
Bradford City 1 (L Thompson O.G 10)
Swindon Town 2 (Obika 23, 43)
Kick Off: 3.00pm
at the Coral Windows Stadium

Attendance: 12,486 (310 visitors)

Two first half goals from Swindon Town debutant Jonathan Obika consigned City to another defeat at the Coral Windows Stadium.

Despite the eventual scoreline and seeing an early Alan Sheehan penalty saved by Swindon 'keeper Wes Foderingham, Phil Parkinson's men actually took the lead ten minutes in when Louis Thompson bundled home a Mark Yeates cross into his own goal.

Swindon fought back, however, through two goals later in the half from Obika - both from corner set-pieces - to see the visitors wrestle back the initiative in the game and secure a half time advantage.

City pressed hard for an equaliser in the final quarter of the match but Parkinson's side would eventually end the game with ten men when Sheehan was given a straight red card deep into stoppage time for catching Swindon defender Raphael Rossi Branco in the stomach.

Mclean is booked in the aftermath for his involvement.
90+7min: RED CARD - Sheehan is given a straight red card following a confrontation with Branco after the award of a late free-kick in Swindon's half by the near touch-line. With Swindon slowly seeing out the game, Branco goes down after appearing to be caught in the stomach by Sheehan as frustrations boil over at the end of the game.
90+5min: Mclean and Liddle both try to scramble home a Morais corner delivery but Swindon eventually clear their lines.
90+4min: Sheehan's cross is glanced goalwards by Darby but Foderingham tips the headed effort around the post.

87min: Sheehan goes close to finding City's equaliser when his direct free-kick from over 25 yards out whistles narrowly wide of Foderingham's top corner.
84min: Lining up for a wide free-kick delivery, Sheehan tries to catch out Foderingham by firing the kick low towards the 'keeper's near post but the Swindon shot-stopper is alert enough to push the effort around the post.
83min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Mason Bennett for Kennedy.
78min: SUB - With the Irishman still seemingly struggling with a shoulder problem, Yeates is replaced by Aaron Mclean.
77min: Sheehan's superb cross from the resulting wide free-kick fizzes across the area, narrowly missing three City players in the middle. Kennedy rescues the situation over on the far side before crossing a high ball back into the area. Liddle heads the ball into the net over by the far post but the referee had already ruled that the cross had gone out of play.
76min: YELLOW CARD - Kasim is booked for barging into Sheehan as the pair jumped for an aerial ball. The Iraqi midfielder had been lucky to escape a booking a minute or so earlier when he barged into Yeates - a foul that left the City attacker nursing a shoulder injury.

63min: Kasim drives into the area before seeing his pull-back from the byline turned behind by Sheehan at the near post.
62min: Another swift attack forward from Swindon sees Michael Smith's effort from just inside the area deflect behind off Sheehan after the Swindon striker had been picked out by a pull-back from Byrne.
59min: Swindon break forward with pace following a cleared City corner. Byrne tries to play Bradley Smith into space over by the far side of the Bantams' penalty area but Rory McArdle gets back to tackle the ball against the Swindon left wing-back for a goal-kick.
56min: Byrne's teasing centre across the box has to be put behind for a corner by Darby over by the far post.

50min: Louis Thompson's low drive from outside the box rolls wide of Pickford's near post.
47min: YELLOW CARD - Kennedy is booked for tugging back Louis Thompson as Swindon attempt to break forward just inside City's own half of the pitch. Referee Mr Clark lets Swindon play on and continue their attack before booking the Bantams midfielder during the next break in play.
46min: Swindon restart the game.
HT: Bradford City 1 Swindon Town 2
45+1min:
City struggle to clear their lines as firstly Darby needs a well-timed tackle to prevent Louis Thompson a clear shooting opportunity before Michael Smith's effort is deflected away seconds later after the striker had been picked out from the byline by Byrne.
45min: There will be one minute of time added on at the end of the first half.
43min: GOAL - Bradford City 1 Swindon Town 2 - Obika has his second of the game as Swindon take the lead just before the interval. A Nathan Byrne corner isn't properly cleared and Obika is on hand to fire into the top corner as the ball drops frees inside the area.
35min:
After being picked out by Louis Thompson, Luongo takes aim from just outside the box before firing in a low angled drive that whistles narrowly wide of Pickford's far post.
31min: Hanson gets his toe onto Stephen Darby's cross into the box but the striker's effort from around ten yards out lacks the power or placement to trouble Foderingham, who gathers up with relative ease.
23min: GOAL - Bradford City 1 Swindon Town 1 - The visitors are level when Bradley Smith's far post delivery from the resulting corner is headed back across goal by his namesake Michael and Jonathan Obika is on hand to convert with a close range header.
22min:
Swindon break in numbers following a cleared City corner. With plenty of Swindon players in attendance, Raphael Rossi Branco plays the ball across to Massimo Luongo but the Australian's shot from just inside the area is turned behind for a corner by the out-stretched leg of Billy Knott.
17min: Jordan Pickford produces a fine one-handed save to keep City in the lead as he pushes over a Yaser Kasim free-kick from just outside the area that looked destined for the top corner.
10min: GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bradford City 1 Swindon Town 0 - The Bantams shrug off the blow of Sheehan's penalty being saved to take the lead of the game after only ten minutes! A neat one-two between Clarke and Yeates down City's left flank gives the latter the time and space to fizz over an inviting low centre into the area towards the lurking Jason Kennedy. Louis Thompson slides in to try and prevent Kennedy from connecting with Yeates' cross but all he can do in the end is put the ball into the corner of his own goal.
3min: PENALTY.....SAVED!
Alan Sheehan steps up to take the resulting spot-kick but Foderingham guesses the right way to push the effort around the post.
2min: PENALTY TO THE BANTAMS! City are awarded an early spot kick when Swindon 'keeper Wes Foderingham brings down Billy Clarke in the area! The danger initially starts for the visitors when Nathan Thompson mis-controls as he tries to bring the ball out of defence. Mark Yeates is quick to pounce on Thompson's error to try and play James Hanson in front on goal with a through-ball. The pass is slightly over-hit for Hanson but Clarke is still able to nip in just beat to Foderingham to the ball before bringing brought down by the 'keeper's out-stretched leg.
0min: The Bantams kick off the match. They will attack towards the T.L Dallas Stand end in the first half.
