BANTAMSTREK COFFEE MORNINGS THIS WEEK!

25 September 2014

City charity group BantamsTrek, in association with supporter group Friends of Bradford City, will be hosting two special coffee mornings over the next few days.

In conjunction with a nationwide appeal, BantamsTrek will be running the two coffee mornings to help raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. A section of the money raised over the course of the two charity events will also go back to the football club.

The first coffee morning will take place in the Bantams Bar at the Coral Windows Stadium this Friday (26 September 2014) between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.

The second will be held at the Highfield Hotel in Idle, Bradford on Sunday (28 September 2014). Again, the coffee morning will go ahead from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

BantamsTrek is a charity group set up by City kit man John 'G' Duckworth (pictured above with Stephen Darby and Rory McArdle) back in 2010.

Thanks to a number of charity events organised by John and his group, BantamsTrek have raised thousands of pounds over the years for MacMillan, the football club and Bradford Burns Unit.

Entry into both coffee mornings this week will be FREE.

Along with a large number of cake stands and other stalls on show, there will also be a selection City players in attendance during the Friday coffee morning at Valley Parade.

Both events will include a 'Celebration Board' in a quieter section of the room as well to allow fans to pin up pictures/mementos of friends and family members who have lost their lives to cancer.

Further information will be available during the course of this week.
