City midfielder Gary Liddle will miss out on next Saturday's Yorkshire derby with Sheffield United at the Coral Windows Stadium after picking up his fifth booking of the season during Sunday's loss at Barnsley.
Liddle was cautioned midway through the first half at Oakwell for bringing down Barnsley's Ryan Williams. Under F.A regulations, five bookings for a player before 31 November means an automatic one-match ban.
Bantams boss Phil Parkinson said: "It is a shame that Gary will have to miss out but it will at least give someone else an opportunity."
