CITY SET FOR IRELAND RETURN

22 May 2014

The football club can confirm that plans are in place for a pre-season trip to the Republic of Ireland this summer.

City's week-long stay in the Emerald Isle will begin on Sunday 13 July 2014 - the day after City's friendly fixture at Conference North side Guiseley.

The Irish trip will be the Bantams' third visit to the country in successive years following previous pre-season trips in 2012 and 2013.

During their time in Ireland, City have, in priniciple, agreed to play friendly fixtures against SSE Airtricity Premier Division side U.C.D and First Division team Shelbourne.

City are scheduled to play U.C.D on Tuesday 15 July 2014 (kick off 7:45pm) and Shelbourne on Saturday 19 July 2014 (kick off 3:00pm).

In keeping with protocol, both matches, however, are subject to City receiving written permission in advance from the F.A.I (Football Association of Ireland) and the F.A.

Admission prices for both matches and further details regarding the tour will be confirmed in due course.
