Proof required for disabled tickets

10 March 2014

The football club would like to remind any supporters wishing to obtain discounted disabled tickets at Colchester United on Tuesday (11 March 2014) that they must bring along the appropriate supporting evidence to do so.

Colchester have informed City that any away supporters wishing to buy disabled and carer tickets at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Tuesday evening must receive Disability Living Allowance at either the mid or higher rate.

Proof of a supporter receiving DLA (Disability Living Allowance) at the mid or higher rate MUST be shown to Colchester staff when purchasing tickets at the ground. Fans will be unable to buy disabled and carer tickets without the appropriate evidence.

Speaking with other League 1 clubs throughout the season, the football club understands that this will be the case for all other away matches for the Bantams between now and the end of the current 2013/2014 campaign.

If in doubt, fans are advised to bring any supporting evidence they have with them to future away fixtures.
