Bantams midfielder Nathan Doyle seems doubtful for Tuesday's Sky Bet League 1 home fixture with Walsall after coming off injured at Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
Doyle tweaked his groin towards the end of the first half at Greenhous Meadow and had to be replaced by Gary Jones.
The 27 year-old will now be assessed by the club's medical staff over the next couple of days to see if he has any chance of being in the running for a place in City's starting eleven for the midweek fixture with the Saddlers.
City boss Phil Parkinson said: "Nathan's had a problem with his groin in the past and we think it is a similar thing here.
"It has just tightened up on him and he's had to come off."
