CITY AGREE NEW COMMENTARY DEAL WITH THE PULSE

6 June 2014

The football club have reached an agreement with local radio station The Pulse of West Yorkshire to extend their exclusive match commentary partnership into the forthcoming 2014/2015 season.

The new deal means that The Pulse will continue to be the only radio station to broadcast LIVE full match commentary from all of City's Sky Bet League 1, Capital One Cup, Johnstone Paint Trophy and F.A Cup matches next season.

Matches will be available on 97.5 and 102.5FM. The Pulse will also continue to provide commentary for the club's Bantams Player service. Bantams Player can be accessed via your laptop or PC. Please click HERE for more information.

As before, City's matches will be brought to supporters via the sports section of The Pulse radio station - Pulse Sport.

Fronted by experienced sports broadcaster Tim Thornton and popular former Bantams striker Ian Ormondroyd, Pulse Sport provided exclusive commentary to City fans throughout last season as Phil Parkinson's men picked up a highly commendable eleventh-placed finish in their first season back in League 1.

City's Director of Operations, David Baldwin, said: "We’re delighted to be working with The Pulse once again this season, and we believe this deal represents the very best solution for our club.”

Senior programme controller for The Pulse of West Yorkshire, Tony McKenzie, added: “It’s great to be associated with Bradford City FC for the 2014/15 season.

"Listeners to the station can expect our award winning sports team to once again deliver unrivalled, exclusive in-depth commentary on all the games next season,”
