United have asked City to inform supporters that ALL bars within the visiting sections of Bramall Lane will be CLOSED during the half-time interval of the fixture.
There is no objection to the selling of alcohol in the lead-up to the fixture, however.
Following the decision not to sell alcohol at half time, sales will have to be restricted to hot drinks and pies etc.
The decision not to sell alcohol during the half-time break has been made by Sheffield United following advice from South Yorkshire Police.
