Premiership foursome Manchester United, Manchester City, Sunderland and West Ham United will all begin their quest this week to secure a spot in the Capital One Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.

This time last year, of course, Phil Parkinson's Bantams were one of the sides doing battle for a place in the grand final at the home of English football.

City begin their quest for a final berth in almost perfect fashion twelve months ago with a 3-1 win semi-final first leg win over Aston Villa at the Coral Windows Stadium.

Goals from Nahki Wells, Rory McArdle and Carl McHugh in front of the Sky Sports cameras helped to give Parkinson's men a crucial advantage going into the second leg at Villa Park two weeks later.
