Oliver departs City

31 January 2014

The football club can confirm that central defender Luke Oliver has departed Bradford City after his contract at the Coral Windows Stadium was cancelled by mutual consent.

Oliver's deal with the Bantams was due to expire in the summer but he will now leave the football club immediately after coming to an agreement with City this Friday morning.

The 6' 7'' defender - a former City Player of the Year - becomes the third player in two days to leave Valley Parade following Ricky Ravenhill and Alan Connell's move to Sky Bet League 2 side Northampton Town.

Oliver departs the football club with the best wishes of everyone at Bradford City Football Club.
