Early Preston team news

City still have some injury concerns on the eve of their Sky Bet League 1 fixture with Preston North End at the Coral Windows Stadium this Tuesday.

As many as four new members of City's squad - Aaron Mclean, Adam Reach, Chris Atkinson and Kyle Bennett - could be in line to make their home debuts against Preston after recently joining the club.

A number of Phil Parkinson's squad are doubts to join them in City's match-day squad for the game, however, due to recent injuries.

Lewis Clarkson remains troubled by a knee problem and Raffaele De Vita is still recovering from a thigh injury - both look set to miss out again as a result.

Ricky Ravenhill (ankle) and Nathan Doyle (groin) will need to be monitored ahead of the Preston fixture.

Mark Yeates is another player who will need to be checked over before the game after recently receiving an injection to try and settle down an issue in his knee.

Oliver McBurnie is expected to be in contention, however, after resting up a slight hamstring problem.

James Meredith (broken foot) and Kyel Reid (torn cruciate ligament) are unfortunately sidelined for the game due to their own long-standing injuries.
