Preparations begin for Vale game

15 February 2014

The Bantams may have been left without a league fixture this weekend following Saturday's postponement at Coventry City but that did not stop Phil Parkinson's men being put through their paces.

Upon hearing of the postponement at Coventry's temporary base of Sixfields Stadium, Parkinson's squad left their Northampton hotel to return north to the club's Apperley Bridge training ground.

Taking advantage of the 4G pitch at Apperley Bridge, City's players were at least able to get a training session in this Saturday as preparations now begin for next Tuesday's home fixture with Port Vale.

Aaron Mclean took part in the session this Saturday after suffering with a virus earlier this week. Mark Yeates was also included as he continues to make his way back into the first team picture.

Matt Taylor and Raffaele De Vita weren't involved, however, due to recent foot and hip injuries respectively.
