Following last Sunday's F.A Cup victory over Dartford, Parkinson's men go into this weekend's trip to Chesterfield's Proact Stadium five games without tasting defeat - winning four of them.
Opponents Chesterfield will welcome the Bantams currently on a similar unbeaten run themselves and having also won in the F.A Cup - 1-0 at Milton Keynes Dons in front of a watching Parkinson.
With that in mind then, Parkinson is predicting an exciting encounter.
Parkinson said: "It was a good win for us last weekend, I don't think we should underestimate the Dartford win. It was a pleased victory for us for many reasons.
"We go to Chesterfield now in good spirits and a confident frame of mind.
"I think this game has the potential to be an interesting match. I saw their F.A Cup match at MK Dons last weekend and they played very well.
"They have some good attacking players in their squad but we also have some players who are very confident at the moment and in really good form.
"I do think it will be an entertaining match to watch."
