CLUB TO ISSUE WRISTBANDS IN BANQUETING AREAS

8 August 2014

Bradford City would like to inform supporters that the club is taking measures to stamp out abuses of the banqueting areas the Coral Windows Stadium at the start of the new 2014/2015 season.

The club have become aware of numerous examples during last season of people using the lounges when they were not entitled to do so.

Many supporters of the club pay a significantly higher entrance fee to use the banqueting areas and the facilities are also part of our corporate and sponsorship packages.

Therefore, from Saturday’s (9 August 2014) home game versus Coventry City, banqueting staff will be issuing coloured wristbands at each home game for all banqueting areas to the supporters who are entitled to use those facilities.

The wristbands will enable the stewards to identify people who are entitled to use the banqueting facilities - anyone not wearing the appropriate wristband for each home game will be asked to leave that area.

The wristbands will be issued on arrival at the stadium at the glass doors leading to the banqueting suites (McCall, Hendrie, 2013 and Chairmans) and at the entrance to the Bantams Bar.

The measure will ensure that supporters who are entitled to use the banqueting facilities are getting the full benefit for the extra money that they have paid.

The club would ask supporters entitled to use the banqueting facilities to arrive at the stadium a few minutes earlier than usual to avoid any congestion at the entrances.

The football club would also like to thank all supporters who are able to support Bradford City by utilising the banqueting facilities at home games and for their co-operation in making this additional measure work effectively.
