Vassell finished well inside the area past Jordan Pickford just before the hour mark, and just shortly after City had lost Andrew Davies to injury, to give all three points to the visitors.

A single second half goal from Peterborough's Kyle Vassell consigned the Bantams to their first defeat of the 2014/2015 season.

Attendance: 13,546 (460 visitors)

The break to treat Davies' arm injury after the restart was one of three injury time-outs during the second period, leading to nine minutes of added time at the end of the match.

City couldn't make those extra minutes count, however, as Peterborough hung to pick up a narrow win from the tight encounter.
