PLEASE STAY OFF THE PITCH

26 April 2014

The club's plea to supporters ahead of final home game of the season

With Bradford City due to face Crawley Town this Saturday (26 April 2014) in their final home game of the season, clubs have received the usual reminder from the Football Association that they need to control their supporters and avoid pitch invasions.

Reminders have been issued that clubs could face sanctions if a pitch invasion occurs and, of course, for the individuals involved, being on the pitch without just cause is a criminal and arrestable offence.

Bradford City F.C is proud that it has made great progress in the last two seasons with its supporters abiding by the club’s requests to stay off the pitch.

A Club spokesperson said: “In each of the last two seasons, Bradford City fans have not come onto the pitch at the end of the season and we are confident that our supporters will come up with the goods once again on Saturday.

"We are delighted to be able to hand this responsibility back to the fans under a simple message which is 'please stay off the pitch at all times”.

Club Captain Gary Jones, as he does at every game, will lead the players on a lap of appreciation at the final whistle.

. THANK YOU.PLEASE STAY OFF THE PITCHTO ALL CITY SUPPORTERS ATTENDING TODAY'S GAME -
