A BIG THANK YOU

27 April 2014

The football club would like to thank every single supporter inside the Coral Windows Stadium this afternoon for ensuring today's (Saturday) minute's silence took place in a respectful manner.

In keeping with tradition, City held a minute's silence just before their final home match of the season with Crawley Town to honour the 56 supporters who tragically lost their lives in the 1985 Valley Parade fire disaster.

The club would also like to thank opponents Crawley for their kind and thoughtful gesture just before kick off.

Crawley captain Josh Simpson ran from the halfway line to place a wreath and scarf behind the Kop stand at the Coral Windows Stadium - an act that resulted in a warm round of applause from the City faithful inside the ground.

Following City's post-match lap of appreciation, the club wish to thank their supporters as well for keeping off the pitch after the final whistle to allow Phil Parkinson's side to show their gratitude for the backing they have received at Valley Parade this campaign.

Bradford City supporters have been fantastic at the Coral Windows Stadium throughout this season and, as always, the support of the fans is greatly cherished by everyone at the football club.
