As a result, Folan will not be available for selection for this Saturday's Sky Bet League 1 encounter with Shrewsbury Town at Valley Parade.

The 6' 2'' attacker will wear squad number 19 for this season once his move to City is confirmed.

Despite his spells in Malaysia and the USA, Folan has previously spent most of his career making a name for himself in English football.
After impressing for Chesterfield during the early years of his career, Folan earned himself a move to Wigan Athletic for a fee of £500,000.
Folan continued to catch the eye with his powerful forward play upon his arrival at Wigan, so much so, Hull City agreed to pay £1 million for his services in 2007.
The giant forward helped Hull into the Premier League in his first full campaign as a Tiger before going onto make several appearances for the club in the top flight the following season.
Folan worked alongside City assistant Steve Parkin and midfielder Nathan Doyle during his time with Hull.
After qualifying through his grandparents, Folan has also picked up seven caps for the Republic of Ireland so far in his career to go with his Premiership experience.
