Kids reading book in Club Shop

Following promising sales figures from launch-day at the WHSmiths in the Airedale Shopping Centre in Bradford this Wednesday, 'The League of Dreams' kids reading book is now to be made available to supporters in further outlets.


From this Friday (1st November 2013) at 9:30am, the book, which is aimed at reading age 6-7, will be on sale from the Bantams Club Shop at the Coral Windows Stadium and ALL Co-operative stores in the Bradford District.


Copies will be on sale for £5.00 each. A pound from each book sold will go to the Bradford City Community Foundation.


.The book itself is based around City striker James Hanson and the Bantams' memorable 2012/2013 campaignThe project is being led by the Friends of Bradford City supporters group

The book draws on Bradford City’s double Wembley-appearing season as inspiration and aims to help encourage youngsters to read more and inspire them to never give up and reach for their goals.

'The League of Dreams' tells the story of a young boy - Hanson - who worked in his local Co-op and dreams of becoming a footballer and playing at Wembley.

Due to phenomenal demand for the book, the club have another limited amount of copies of The League of Dreams' book available that have been pre-signed by James himself.


These will be available from the club shop on a first come, first served basis from 9:30am tomorrow (Friday) morning.

 

Billy Bantam will also be in attendance.
