Bradford City Football Club is throwing its support behind the 'Bradford City Runs' event taking place in the city this Sunday (27 October 2013).
Runners of all standards will be able to compete in one of three separate running events around City Park in the centre of Bradford on Sunday from 9:30am.
Participants can choose from going for either the 5k run (1 lap of the City Park course), the 10k run (2 laps) or the half marathon distance, which works at just over 4 laps of the course.
Any supporters interested in running one of the courses must register by Friday (25 October 2013).
City fans can show their backing for the event by either running one of the courses or by simply turning up on the day and showing your support!
Over half of the entry fees raising by the event will go the official charity partners of the Bradford City Runs - Epilepsy Action and the Sue Ryder healthcare group.
As well as the three runs taking place, there will be number of stalls dotted around City Park, including one from the football club.
Along with the Bantams, the running event is also being backed by, among others, Bradford Bulls, Bradford Council and Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure.
With help from City supporters and the wider community, it is hoped that the running day will become a highlight of the city's sporting calendar.
