Be a 'Men United' Mascot at Wolves game

10 October 2013

Fans from Bradford City are being offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the official Men United Mascot for the Bantams and represent ‘Men United’ at the forthcoming Sky Bet League 2 home fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday 26 October 2013 thanks to Prostate Cancer UK -the Official Charity Partner of The Football League.

Prostate Cancer UK is offering up this unique prize to grown-up football fans to give them the chance to run out with their heroes.

The partnership between Prostate Cancer UK and The Football League aims to reach over 16 million fans across the terraces, raising awareness of the disease which affects 1 in 8 men sometime in their life and kills over 10,000 men a year.

The lucky adult football fan will not only have the honour of leading Phil Parkinson's side out onto hallowed turf before kick-off, the winner will also represent ‘Men United’ in the fight against prostate cancer by putting aside their local football rivalries.

This season for the first time ever, a new super team featuring football managers, players, behind the scenes football staff and fans join arms as  ‘Men United’ to tackle prostate cancer  head on by encouraging men everywhere to wise up to the disease and take action.
