Celebrate with the lads!

22 May 2013

City supporters will have the opportunity to continue the promotion party tonight (Wednesday) with the club's victorious squad during the planned open-top bus parade and City Park celebrations.

To mark City's truly amazing 2012/2013 campaign, Phil Parkinson's squad, who achieved a place in the Capital One Cup Final as well as Saturday's promotion into League 1, will be paraded on an open-top bus along a chosen route between the Coral Windows Stadium and City Hall.

City's triumphant players and staff will set off from Valley Parade outside the club's 1911 Club main reception entrance on the corner of Cliffe Terrace and Burlington Street at approximately 6:30pm on Wednesday evening.

The three buses containing the club's players, staff and other officials will then make their way up towards Manningham Lane before eventually heading onto Manor Row.

The route will continue through Cheapside and onto Market Street before finishing up by City Hall at Centenary Square.

Once at Centenary Square, City's players will then be introduced to the waiting crowds. The expected arrival time for the parade buses is around 7:00pm.

A stage area will be erected in City Park next to Centenary Square to give fans a better view of Parkinson's squad as they celebrate their achievements with supporters and show off the League 2 Play-Off Final winners trophy.

The Bantams boss and some of his squad members are also expected to address the crowd.
