City attacker Garry Thompson is sure he isn't the only member of Phil Parkinson's squad who is eagerly anticipating the club's return to training next month.
Parkinson's Bantams are scheduled to report back for the beginning of pre-season training a week on Monday after six weeks away following City's memorable Play-Off Final victory over Northampton Town last month.
City will take part in two weeks of training ground fitness work before their first friendly of the summer against Guiseley AFC on Saturday 13 July.
The club's week-long trip to Ireland will begin the day after their encounter with Guiseley, with City set to face Athlone Town (Tuesday 16 July)and Bohemian FC (Saturday 20 July) during their time in the country.
Following their return from Ireland, the Bantams' final two friendlies before the start of their Football League 1 campaign will see them travel to Grimsby Town on Tuesday 23 July before entertaining Championship new-boys Doncaster Rovers at the Coral Windows Stadium on Saturday 27 July.
Thompson said: "(Head of Sports Science) Nick Allamby has been brilliant for us over these summer months. He has done everyone their own individual off-season (fitness) programme.
"We had a couple of weeks off after the end of the season to recharge our batteries, but the lads will have all been doing their runs and that now in the build up to coming back for the start of pre-season training.
"We are back in on the 1st July, and I think everyone can't wait to get started again at this stage of the summer.
"I know pre-season is normally a hard time for the players, but I think we'll all be looking forward to getting back."
City's official website - www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk - will be on hand to bring supporters action and reaction from the training ground as the players report back for duty at the start of July.
