As part of the celebrations of the 125th Anniversary of The Football League, supporters across the country are to be given a chance to vote for their club’s greatest ever players, managers and matches.
In what is the biggest supporter vote ever undertaken by The Football League, votes will be run on a weekly basis on The League’s new 125th anniversary microsite at www.FL125.co.uk. The votes will be done on a club-by-club basis, with each club submitting their own shortlists.
Over the coming weeks, the series of votes will cover;
> Best Manager
> Best Player
> Best Season
> Best Captain
> Fans Favourite
> Best Game
The first vote, for each club’s best ever manager, is now open, with a new topic being opened for voting at http://www.fl125.co.uk/vote each Tuesday.
Over the coming weeks City will be asking our supporters to help us with our shortlists for further votes. This time we were are asking for your suggestions as to which campaign we should put forward as the club’s best season ever from our time in The Football League.
