City defender Carl McHugh has put pen to paper on a fresh contract with the club to become the latest player to commit himself to Phil Parkinson's squad for the forthcoming 2013/2014 campaign.
McHugh, who originally joined the football club last August following a successful trial period, has signed a new one-year deal this Tuesday evening.
The new contract for McHugh is reward for a brilliant breakthrough year for the young Irish defender.
As well as picking up his first caps at under 21 level for the Republic of Ireland, McHugh also started 22 games for Parkinson's men and played a key part in City's unbelievable run to the Capital One Cup Final.
