Former Bantams midfielder Will Atkinson has joined League 2 side Southend United this Thursday.
Atkinson, whose contract at the Coral Windows Stadium expired this summer, moves to Roots Hall after playing his part in City's historic and truly memorable 2012/2013 campaign.
The versatile midfielder made 57 appearances and scored three goals for Phil Parkinson's men last season.
Atkinson's move to Southend reunites him with Blues boss Phil Brown after the duo had previously worked together at Hull City.
