'Snow' stopping us!

22 January 2013

With the club on the verge of one of the biggest games in their history, Bantams boss Phil Parkinson wasn't going to let something like a few inches of snow affect his team's all-important preparations!

To ensure that the club were positioned nearer to Villa Park ahead of Tuesday's eagerly-anticipated Capital One Cup Semi-Final Second Leg and that his players had the best training facilities possible, Parkinson's squad left behind the snow of Bradford to set up base at The F.A's new training headquarters at St George's Park near Burton-on-Trent.

With no new injuries to trouble him, Parkinson was able to bring a strong squad with him down to Burton, including latest signing Michael Nelson, who is eligible to play for City in this competition after receiving international clearance at the back end of last week.

James Hanson's cracked little toe, an injury which made him a doubt for last weekend's postponed League 2 fixture at Port Vale, will need to be assessed pre-match though to see if he is fit enough to feature.

Bantams Player subscribers can now watch clips of the lads as they get used to their new surroundings! To view the video please click HERE.
