Following on from Saturday's home defeat at the hands of Rochdale, Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has made four changes to his starting line up for City's first game of 2013.
Ritchie Jones, Ricky Ravenhill, Zavon Hines and Will Atkinson have been brought back into the side as Parkinson's men look to kick off the new calendar year with a positive result.
City are expected to line up in a 4-3-1-2 formation, with Ravenhill, Ritchie Jones and Atkinson combining to make the midfield three and Gary Jones asked to operate just behind the attacking duo of Hines and James Hanson.
With Tom Naylor among City's substitutes at the Globe Arena, Nathan Doyle is likely to partner Rory McArdle in central defence.
Nahki Wells, who is slowly working his way back to full fitness after a recent virus, will join Naylor on the Bantams bench. Kyel Reid is also only fit enough for a place on the bench after picking up a dead leg against Rochdale.
Garry Thompson, who spent nine years at Morecambe at the beginning of his career, misses out on a reunion with his old club due to a knee injury he received at the weekend.
